Was visiting the Adirondacks and took a detour to hit this famous pizza spot in the NY Capitol Region. The bread dough makes for a heavy slice along with a pretty thick coat of cheese and some robust, chunky sauce. Great flavor, not too different from good Westchester pizza I grew up on, just a doughier texture. Nicely cooked to compensate, I would drive an hour for this if I lived in Upstate, NY

This pizza is unique! The light and fluffy crust is different and just works. The homemade sauce has so much tomato flavor without being too tart or sweet. I got half cheese and half eggplant and meatball and I have to tell you they are some of the best meatballs I’ve ever tasted.

I don’t have a picture of my pizza. But tried this place yesterday, and it’s no wonder why it’s the talk of town. Delicious all the way around. Very nice people working there. I would love they added ranch to their menu for eating in!

Do not go here expecting traditional NY pizza, it is different… my particular pizza made me feel like I was eating an Italian dinner… baked ziti perhaps… decent, not amazing

order: trad chee, fresh moz, sausage, hangover,cannolie, house salad. best experience drove 4hrs and sat in the garden after hours with saint anthony on our shoulder. staff was outstanding so nice. troy is a fun spot.

Sometimes it's all about the dough and this DeFazio's pizza didn't disappoint in this category. Good crust with minimal flop. Plenty of flavors but not enough cheese to be considered a true cheese pie.

Not my typical style of pie, but, If you’re craving a light breadie wood fired crust, with lots of sauce, this hits the spot well.
