Del Ponte's Coal Fired Pizza

Pizza wasn’t crispy this time as it was in the past when I ordered, anf was lukewarm / cold picking it up. They told me a 30-40 minute wait but it felt like it was sitting there. they have 8.3 potential, tonight just didn’t live up to it.

A little soggy and dough too thick. But great sausage, sauce and cheese. Just cook it longer!

More sauce then cheese, very doughy and thick, all said a very good pizza just need to polish those and it would be so much better

Coal fired pizza. Not your typical coal fired was very doughy and the bottom was floppy not firm. Didn’t take away from the pie, just not what you typically get with this style. The drawbacks of the pie were I thought it had a bit too much cheese and the end crust was very dense instead of airy. Overall a good pie but I felt could’ve easily gone higher. Check out the Italian bakery next door (same name) once you’re done with your pizza. Everything I had from there was great.

Fresh ingredients a bit fancier than your regular pie. Easy to devour

Del Pontes Coal Fire. Amazing freshness barely any flop and very light. Sauce is really tasty as is the fresh mozzarella. My go to in this area by far!! Excellent pizza!! And try the cannoli’s from the bakery my top cannoli at 9.5.

Some of the freshest pizza you’ll ever eat. Light, crispy & fluffy. The cheese is top quality & the sauce has this brilliant sweetness to it. My favorite slice of pizza in central Jersey.

Great coal fired taste. Best crust I’ve tasted so far in Jersey. It’s more of a Neapolitan style. Advice would be to eat it there. Can’t let it sit. It was more chewy than crispy. Pepperoni is on point. We dogged the whole pie, but no need to go back. On to the next one.
