DeSano Pizzeria Napoletana

Great place ! Really fresh. I asked for crispy but wasn’t crispy. Could have scored higher ! Really fresh !

Neapolitan pizza that has tremendous flavor. Crust is so good in spite of it being Neapolitan and have a lot of flop and the dough being softer because of it. I’d say easily among the best Neapolitan pizza you can find in Austin. 7.9 is fair to give.

Fantastic pizza. Buy some garlic butter to dip your crust in. Amazing. You can thank me later.

Sauce and Mozzarella are super fresh, dough was iffy, sometimes spot on and sometimes lacking follow thru. The pie was SOAKED overall, mushed out the crust and lost a lot of charm. Standard fair sausage. With a better crust? Probably a better score— but maybe a different option would have hit better. Ordered the Napoli Desano, would come back but for something different.

Americana. Ok, but not as good as the Marg.

Honestly wasn’t that great to me, pizza wasn’t very warm to start which really sucks. The crust was burnt on the outside which I don’t mind but the inside was a little undercooked. I would likely eat it again but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

Sauce has great great tang. Very good. Decent char. But it’s Neo so gonna be floppy. Do it justice and fold. Eat it hot and fresh.

Way to much seasoning on the cheese and no crunch at all unfortunately but a decent pizza 6.2 on the cheese but the margarita pizza is a 7.8, that’s a review!

Everything slides off the pizza, the manager was rude. The sauce is pretty banging though. Everything else meh.

Delivery was a tad cold but you can’t beat cherry tomatoes and Bufalo Mozz. Undercarriage was solid as well.

These oven are from Italy and have each been been blessed by a Priest. The people are awesome!! The pizza is the best in Austin by far.
