Descendant Detroit Style Pizza

Visiting from Australia (2nd time in 12 months) and couldn’t be happier yet again. So crispy, but light and fluffy. Best crew take care of you every time.

Got the “No Name”. Crispy crust,ricotta great balance with the hot honey. Superior pizza.

Eaten at the Boston location isn’t on the one bite app yet very very good

Had the no name. It’s extremely well executed pizza. Could wax on about why or try to justify the score but to sum it up, this pizza is exceptionally enjoyable.

Not even a huge deep dish guy but this place SLAPS.

Crust has a great fermented, crispy, salty, burnt flavor. Cheese has the right amount of pull and creaminess. Sauce is a straight forward tomato. Worth traveling for.

My detailed explanation on the L Cheese pizza. If you order a topping such as pepperoni or sausage etc… would probably different a result I’m sure! I would recommend them for sure. Give them a try, but I would keep my options open as well.

ordered the cheese.. Great pizza, the exterior crisp is fantastic, the under carriage has a fried texture, their sauce is original Italian home made with a superb distribution of mozzarella throughout..the light dusting of flaked parmesan is a nice touch.. i thoroughly enjoyed this deep dish pie.. it looks heavy but tastes light.

If you like this style of pizza, this is basically as good as you can get. Haven’t had it in a few years, and it was way more well done than I remember but those corners and that pepperoni was spot on.

Soft bread with crispy edges. Greasy to touch / hot Was nice & hot on pickup. Flop and undercarriage kind of irrelevant to Detroit style. Topping stayed in place on slice while munching Feels light despite Detroit style Pepperoni was much better than truff-guy We prefer tomato sauce pizza on our pies. Fiancée like it because it was similar to pizza hut that she grew up eating Tasty pepperoni Not too much cheese on pepperoni Good amount of tomato sauce Great proportions considering heavy Detroit style Forgot to give us the side of hot sauce we ordered. Great Detroit style. Base is airy with a good crumb and has a good crisp on the outside and edges. Quality of the cheese used is phenomenal also. All flavours were blended well. Very digestible and not at all heavy like you may fear from such a thick pizza. The platonic ideal of a deep dish.

Just fantastic deep dish pizza , lots of different flavours pulling in different directions, very generous with the cheese and toppings and the undercarriage and crust is very crisp Really exquisite pizza , I doubt your finding better deep dish in Toronto
