Detroit Style Pizza Co. Pizzeria

This Detroit-style pizza was loaded with crispy pepperoni, jalapeños, and a drizzle of hot honey that brought the perfect sweet heat to every bite. The thick, fluffy crust with those crispy, cheesy edges was the real star (we ordered well done and it was cooked perfectly). Easy 7.9/10 — super solid pie and we’d absolutely run it back.

Looks perfect every time. Never sloppy. Haven’t tried a specialty pizza that didn’t hit the spot.

This is my favorite place on the east side. The pizza is lighter than your typical deep dish/Detroit style. Nice and light so even round pizza lovers will love it. The sauce is also more like a pasta sauce than pizza. Highly, highly recommend!

Hands down my number one Detroit style pizza thus far. Well worth the drive. Or to have shipped to your house for later.

Fluffy dough is excellent. The sauce and cheese is good but nothing special. Overall a solid Detroit style pie.

Detroit style pizza. Amazing sauce and crispy crust. Added sausage and onion. The people inside were extremely friendly and only took 15 minutes.

Sausage + basil. Best Detroit style pizza I’ve had yet during my sojourn to Detroit. Crust wasn’t too doughy. Good crisp. Cheese stretched like Armstrong. Tomato sauce dollop on top was a fine coup de grâce. A bit too heavy, but that’s Detroit steez

Hands down fire people who give this place under an 8 don’t know good pizza.

The extra layer of sauce on top is the chef’s kiss cherry on top. Amazing pie. One of my fave US pizzas I’ve tried so far.

Cheese is the highlight. Dough is crispy and soft. Wish there was more sauce but whatever.

At this point I only travel to try new pizza… but took Dave’s advice and went north of Detroit for some Detroit style pizza! I love me some Detroit style and is one of my favorite types of pizza. This place had some of the best crust I’ve ever had and really good/fresh cheese! My only knock on the pizza was the sauce, it was still pretty good, but definitely was not my favorite as it had a weird tang to it. Overall definitely recommend if you’re in the area!
