This place is overhyped. The quality of the pizza is good, but there are several drawbacks. First, they are infamous for rodent infestation (most recently in April 2018). Second, the price is outrageous ($5 for a regular slice). Third, unless you are near the front of the line, there is a minimum 1 hour wait.

Incredible! Thin and well cooked, crispy but not overcooked. Great ratio of cheese to sauce. The basil and parm on top was a great touch

Iconic slice that had all the right elements. Would have scored higher if the cheese wasn’t sliding off trying to eat it. It came straight out of the oven piping hot.

This should be a 10, but I am leaving it .1 short in the event that I ever run into something better — but I doubt it. Di Fara not only has a prestigious story behind it, but they have the pizza to back it up. Great charred crust, the cheese tastes fresh and it’s not too overly greasy and the sauce is perfectly balance and not overpowering. This is by far the best pizza I’ve ever had. I would gladly select it as my last meal. Long live De Fara!
