By far DiFara had the longest lines of all vendors at the One Bite Festival, through the whole day.
I thought they were somewhat disappointing. The slice I got lacked sauce and cheese and basil was mostly what I tasted, like with my first Angelo's in Philly slice. I did have another bite of a slice later which was better.
But I really feel DiFara shines best in their Sicilan, in that it's a better crust and you get more of a taste of the sauce and finishing cheese. They're standout is their flavoring.
The crust was not that good. I feel like looking at reviews, their crust is hit or miss. I could tell they used the bottom of the dough ball as the bottom of the crust and use a lot of dusting flour. But it was pale and ratty shaped. Really obviously a same day, probably hours fermentation time.
Wish I could say more about the sauce and cheese but the Partanna Sicilian olive oil and basil was all I could taste on this pictured slice.
Will go to them one day, but some of the shine is lost.
