Very over rated. When it comes to the crust, I felt like I was biting into hard charcoal. I felt like there was no cheese flavor. The dough had no crispiness in my opinion, only toughness. I've had better 99¢ slices.

Ordered this off Goldbelly. Shipped frozen and had to be reheated so I’m sure it lost something in translation. Regardless, it’s fair game if this is being sold like this.

Ordered 2 plain and 2 square. 3 of 4 were very good - not great. Scored those an 8.1. The last square was burnt - not crisp - burnt. See pic. I’m a Staten Islander - somewhat local. I passed a bunch of pizza places better than this that don’t charge $30-$35 a pie. Brothers Pizza, Joe and Pats, Deninos to name a few. The original chef (Dom) isn’t cooking the pizzas - just kids doing the cooking. Maybe that is why the pies lacked the consistency. Feels more like a tourist trap than a truly great pizza place. Not worthy of the hype IMHO. I don’t see myself coming back.

Came here from GA to try NY pizza, best square slice in all of NY

Excellent regular slice. Only reason under 9 is the square slice was overrated. Everything here is excellent quality.

I’ve been fortunate in my life to have eaten some great, great pie. And while Di Fara’s sauce is among the best I’ve ever had, the surprising flop and grease keep it from being included in a tier with John’s of Bleaker and Sally’s. Nonetheless, it was absolutely worth the trip.

It’s spectacular. Square slice and plain slice get the same score. Just had Sally’s last week, and this blew it away. Square slice has amazing crisp and good chew. Lots of basil flavor, delicious cheese, perfect sauce and even a tiny bit of spice. Regular pie is super thin and crunchy, with absolutely perfect ratios and so much flavor. It’s the top of the pizza mountain, as far as I’m concerned.

Either they didn’t call my name when the pizza first came out of the oven or this thing cooled down at a record pace... on a different day, and made/baked with a bit more care, I could see this being mid 8s... good dough, good cheese and great sauce... paper thin and floppy in too many places... I need a do-over

Frozen sent online. The crisp of the crust is phenomenal. The fresh Basil is a nice added bonus. Very fresh taste in the cheese and sauce too. One of the best Ive tried, cant imagine how great it is in person.

We went back for seconds. Idk what dave was talking about with the square though. I gave that a 7.7. Very different from the regular.
