Not what it used to be. I’m talking 20 years ago. Had some slices yesterday. Crust seemed slightly stale, off tastes of a dirty oven. It’s certainly not bad pizza, just isn’t very good, by the slice at least. Maybe better with a whole pie.

Definitely amazing pizza. Not sure if it’s dropped slightly in quality since Dom retired because 9.4 seems a little high Dave. I’ll score 9.1 because I think it belongs on the bottom of the top 10 instead of the top. Legendary pizza but not the king.

Pizza was good. Definitely a bit overrated. A tad too much basil for my liking. Overall pretty good. Nothing special

Its a great pizza but the hype and the price, i didn’t feel it was worth it. Definitely the best so far of the previous reviews. But i have had better pizza and i will definitely find better pizza. For the drive and price in a effect 7.9 !!

As advertised NY style pizza (and square slice). Burnt bottom to perfection and balanced cheese/sauce.

Finally, I made my way over to Di Fara! Legendary establishment in Brooklyn. The super secret is to not go during the weekend haha! This pie was absolutely incredible. Right off the bat, we’re dealing with phenomenal, level 10 crisp here. The flavors were outstanding, my only complaint would be that the sauce was a bit saltier than I prefer it…now, if I showed up the next day to order another pie would that be the case? I’m not sure. The cheese blend used is top notch, nice flavor, perfect stretch with a pretty good amount of coverage. At this point in time, I’ve only had 3 pizza places that I’d rank above Di Fara. If you’re in NY do yourself a favor and good give this place a try

I mean, one of the best. Really dense crisp dough/crust. Sweet sauce with a nice kick

Travelled from NC and had a couple of days in the city. Di Fara was on my list to visit and they didn’t disappoint. Great sauce, dough had a crunch but also soft. Charring was good. Tried the cheese and had another slice or pepperoni. I actually enjoyed the cheese more! Fresh basil and olive oil on it gave it that signature taste!

Crust on the square slice is great, but I like the sauce a little sweeter. Still good, but not to the level of the hype.

Good pizza but not up to the hype in my eyes, to each their own but still a solid pizza quality ingredients

A little floppy and greasy for my taste. But the taste…HOLY HELL. Never tasted anything like this. The cheese and sauce combines into its own universe of perfection. Crusty part of the dough is really good too. Destroys pretty much all other slices.

If you don’t rate Di Fara in the 9’s you have zero taste buds. So f’ing good

Considered by many as the best pizza anywhere. Now I know why. Thin, crispy delicious crust. Sauce and basil complete it. A little too much olive oil makes it hazardous to eat on a Brooklyn stoop. Hopefully I’ll get the drip stain out of my khakis

Awesome pizza! Try the square and the classic. Square has a flaky and crunchy crust. The classic has a fluffy yet firm crust. The pepperonis were really good.
