Di Fara Pizza

First slice i had a few months ago best pizza ever. Recently got it sadly after doms death sauce was not as flavorful. Still very good

Expensive? Idc. Hard to get to? Don’t give a s***. This is the best slice in Manhattan, it is the cristiano Ronaldo of slices, has all the glamour but still delivers with the 90th minute winner. Excellent slice, RIP to the founder Dom.

Saucy and disgusting

It’s been awhile since I’ve been here. Wanted to rate it on the app for #100. Flavor is still insane. Fresh basil. Sauce has a peppery taste. Pizza is very crispy. Pecorino on top of the cheese. Really one of a kind type pizza. RIP Dom, pizza legend.

They are not using the same ingredients anymore, the tomatoes had no taste and the cheese was just milky.. Still good but not the same as b4...

Best pizza I’ve ever had… traveled up from Maryland to try it out.

Ok, went waaay outside of the city to the middle of Brooklyn to try this famous pizza place and it didn’t disappoint! It definitely was not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but it was still very good. There was no flop, and the ingredients were very fresh. I thought the crust could’ve used a little more flavor, but I did enjoy the cheese and the sauce. My only other complaint was the amount of basil on the pie, I’m not wild about basil and theirs was a little too overpowering.

Had it cold and this was still a 9.4! Great balance on the dough and sauce ratio with a perfect crunch! Same rating as John’s Pizza on Bleeker!! Congrats to both! 👏👏

Visiting NYC from Florida and decided to make the commute to Brooklyn to try the legendary Di Fara’s. Tried the circle and the square pizza. Both were really good slices and I enjoyed them thoroughly. If I’m ever in Brooklyn I will stop by again but I wouldn’t make more than an hour commute for it. A little too strong on the basil for my liking but the crust, cheese, and sauce were all quality ingredients and it showed in the flavor. I actually preferred the square over the circle pizza.

This place was very good. I think the 9.4 from Dave is high on the regular slice but the square slice is the best I have ever had!!! It’s amazing and made my trip to NY worth it!! This is a blended score. 9.1 on regular slice 9.5 on square.

One nibble. Everyone knows the laws. That this is the best slice you’ll ever have. It don’t get any better than this. Dom (the son) was so humble and friendly it shows how much love was put into this. You can literally taste it. 9.3 for the cheese slice. 9.4 for the cheese square. That square is gonna be remembered for years!

Gave this another shot. It’s meh. Ok. Overrated. Sauce is runny and bland. Crust was good. I’ll take A New Haven pizza over this anytime.

This was literally the most basic pizza I ever tasted. Nothing stood out. It was nothing more than average and super expensive for absolutely no reason. It was good but nothing spectacular as y’all made it out to be. I’ve had really great pizza, and this was not even close to great. Sorry not sorry. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Tremendous. The fresh mozzarella is great. The fresh basil is a fantastic addition. The crust is like a cracker. Whatever olive oil they use is outstanding. Do yourself a favor and go to Di Fara.

Really fucking good. Worth the drive!!!
