DiCarlo's Pizza - Akron

Crust was really well done. Reminds me of Patsy’s in WV. They make the pizza and then drop a cheese blend on cold afterward. Kind of a novelty. Definitely worth ordering. Pretty good square pizza.

Probably some of the best crust i’ve ever had. Definitely an interesting slice as the cheese is not melted (Ohio Valley style) but it’s still awesome

Now even though I did like the taste and the less grease because the cheese isn’t melted, it was more so the sauce and crispy crust that earned this score. Very good pizza and definitely worth giving it a shot if you’re tired of the same old pizza. Preferred the cheese pizza but started eating it too quickly and didn’t snap a phot. Eight one. This is Ohio valley pizza, it is very unique and unlike any pie I’ve had before. Either way it is good, the crust is unlike anything else it packs a great crunch. The sauce is very tangy and sweet. And the cheese is what makes this pizza unlike any other because it’s provolone and they put the cheese on cold. Would recommend this pizza and will be going back. The people working there are very kind and just love making quality pies.

Great crust and the sauce is tangy for sure. They switch out mozzarella for provolone that I don’t think I’m a fan of.

Didn’t know what to think with the toppings on after, but this is good. Crust is perfectly crisp, sauce is good and cheese has some bite. It’s not heavy and I could eat 10 pieces easy.

So I've never heard of or had what they call " Ohio valley pizza" before until this place. Let me tell you, it was one of the best pies I've ever had! They cook the dough and sauce by itself and add TONS of cheese AFTER it cooks. So talking to they guy working when I went in to pick up the pizza (I ordered online), he told me the best way to eat this pizza is to wait about 10-15 minutes. It worked out perfectly, because this location is 15 minutes away from my house. I threw it in my pizza delivery bag I bought off Amazon, got home, opened it up and what you see in this photo is what I got. Zero flop in that crust. Super crispy and thin, sauce was amazing, and that freshly melted cheese was to die for! Probably my new go-to for pizza.

Not a great appearance, but was not expecting how good of a taste it had. The cheese had more flavor than almost any slice I’ve had. Solid crunch.

When I first saw it my immediate thought was uh oh. I was wrong there is NO other pizza like this around here. Great flavor and ridiculous crunch. Hands down the best in the area. They sell by the slice and only have cheese and pepperoni option so you know they are doing something right

Was skeptical about the cold cheese, but this might be my new go to pizza. Incredible flavor and the crunch was intense.

Dicarlo’s Pizza in Cuyahoga Falls. Good pizza, not to die for but it’s a new place so there’s time to improve for them. Pizza had good crunch and was flavorful, the pepperoni was a little scarce. Cheese if different but good and sauce was similar to others I’ve had. Overall willing to go back and have more.
