DiMaggio's Pizza and Burgers

While visiting family in South Haven, MI, we checked out their favorite local pizza spot. The pizza was good, with solid flavor, but I’m personally not a fan of square-cut slices. I also would have liked the crust to be a bit crispier, as it was a little floppy for my taste. Still, it was a good local spot, and I can see why it’s a favorite for the people here. The atmosphere was great like stepping into a 70’s restaurant

A good decent neighborhood pizza. Would be okay getting every week but not my favorite. A ton of cheese and grease but decent flavor

Nice bite to the crust, cheese well done. Great place to stop for a bite and a beer.

Hands down one of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten. No flavor, all flop.

Solid pizza, the sauce and toppings are great. The crust is the perfect flop to crisp. There’s a little too much cheese for the amount of sauce though. Overall would get again.

Crust was kind of like chewing through cardboard. Very greasy, the one plus would be the price was decently cheap.

It has to be thin crust and well done!

Pizza is decent. We tried a cheese and a veggie. There’s just something “missing” from them though.... seemed too plain for my liking. If we go back, I’d try something with sausage or pepperoni.

Some people say the sauce or crust is bland but I thought it was fantastic! A solid crisp and I believe there was a light sweetness to the sauce. I'd say it's the best or one of the best in the area, but it's pretty pricey at $18ish a pizza.

Very cheesy and kinda greasy. Good flavor, great crust. One of the best pizzas in the area.

Bland. Sauce had no flavor .

Wanted to like it... Needed more time in the oven for starters crust was raw in the middle .. Mushy gooey greasy.

I like this pie. Great thick juicy dough with some flow from slice cheese for a good authentic taste. Here’s the problem, “poor man’s slice”, square slices?! When you take away crust like that you kill pizza. A good end piece of crust can make or break a pie; and in this case it keeps Dimaggios from achieving a 7 score.

The sausage is good, but the pizza is never consistent. The veggies must be frozen, and they have zero taste.
