OK, here we are on a beautiful Friday, and our first varsity football game is tonight at Memorial Stadium against Dobbs ferry. Big game. Let’s start off the season right. And the tradition continues with our pizza review. Up here in Thornwood, and I’m ready to get into this. The pizza looks good, it got so so reviews, but I think it’s gonna be good. It’s not bad at all. Decent crunch, good ingredients, zero flop, I would say it’s almost your average football pizza, and it could be. It’s getting there. But not a bad review for a Friday afternoon. Lets go Pelham!!

This is the 5th and final spot in Thornwood I've reviewed and I must say. For a town with 5 pizza spots, all within less than a mile of each other and all of them are terrific! Thornwood is on point! Bbq chicken slice rated 9.0 Baked ziti slice gets the 8.2 First customer in at 10am and I'm blown away! Don't sleep on any of the five pizza spots in Thornwood!

1 cheese slice, 2:40pm on a Thursday. $3.00 Pros: Thin traditional NY slice, good crisp to undercarriage, no flop. Crust is all right. Cons: Not a lot of flavor beyond cheese and grease. Needs more sauce, there's dry patches that taste like cheese bread. Verdict: Not the best hour to walk into a pizza place (between 2-3pm) but the slice still seemed pretty fresh. Just wasn't all that noteworthy.

Good pizza all day and crispy crust

Solid Slice. Little greasy and a bit crunch crust.

Fresh slice was overly doughy with no crunch, even in the crust, and too much grease. Sauce and cheese had no distinct flavor to them. Very pedestrian.

Hockey Pizza. Nothing special.

Very Basic football pizza, with minimal flavor. It’s a stop by kinda place if you are starving.

Crust was nice, sauce was blah and it was a little to greasy. You have better options in this area
