This is a pizza joint inside of a fried chicken joint. Exactly what you expect in the hood. The sauce, cheese, crust all scream convenience pizza but it is executed well. But it won't knock your socks off.

Served very hot in 3-4 minutes with a good Ossining crisp and no Rt. 9 flop. First Bite Score: 6.6 The sauce is decent yet very thick with a mild tang and strong oregano flavor. The mozzarella is low quality with zero salinity. The dough recipe is king here. It is nicely worked and just a tad under seasoned. The undercarriage is wonderfully crisped and is very thin. Sub Score: 6.4 SAUCE: overcooked, too much oregano and under salted. Mozzarella: use higher quality and apply more to the slice. Dough: standard, under salted. Id the sauce is cooked less, better mozzarella is used and more salt in the dough, this could be in the high 7.0’s. Still not a bad slice! Final score...

Simple sauce, ample cheese, bland crust. Nothing stellar, no complaints, true 6.8 country.
