🍕OK so how about a 8.0 This pizza is DAMN GOOD!! "one bite everyone knows the rules" The ground sausage and ground pepperoni is my absolute favorite pizzas ever! It's not a New Haven Style pizza but it's DAMN GOOD! The crust is amazing! The undercarriage is perfect!! Lots of cheese, and an amazing sauce combined with the ground meat is simply delicious!!! This review is not just about the pizza. The soup, the salad and even the pasta, this place is awesome! The world famous ground pepperoni is where it is at…meaty, spicy in a grandma-style. Even the cheese pizza (8.5) is worth the visit. Bonus review, Frankie: the creamy garlic salad dressing (9.1) will make your dick fall off.

Wow, was expecting sooooo much better. It’s good, super crispy, but not great. Very little sauce and flavor. It was an 8.3 on the app based on 9 reviews, so I was excited. Kind of a let down. I’ve given 3 scores higher than 8.0 ALL of them were way better than this pizza. Evidently being the best in Long Beach doesn’t mean much!!😂

One bite. Decided to go a little different route this time. Cheese on bottom, sauce on top. Right off the bat, wonderful service at this restaurant. Tomato soup was extravagant. The golden slice, the sauce tasted more like pasta sauce tang than pizza sauce tang and that kinda hurts the score. Cheese has a nice stringy-ness to it that I enjoyed. Crust was interesting, the crust is thin but has a questionable crunch to it. Reminds me of a holiday pie crust. Definitely a different type of pizza but still good. Just not my style. Give the golden slice a seven point seven. That’s the review.

Pro tip, ask for the hot oil. Opened in 1954. For California, that is ancient. Ground meats are so salty and good. Even better after a night in the fridge.

There's some voodoo going on here. The pizza is amazing. Not greasy, no cheese, but the best pepperoni I've ever had.
