Let’s start with the service. Vic was 100% the most cordial gentleman I have ever had the pleasure of talking to and being “served” by. He wasn’t so much a server, but a gracious host who truly engages with not only his patrons, but also the community at large. He took his time to make sure everything was satisfactory not only for us, but for all of the people that swung by and just wanted to chat about anything and everything. He is a fantastic human being and he made all feel welcome.
Now for the food - we got the standard cheese this time (the good boy) to test the waters. It was slightly cheesier than I usually like, but with the deliciously balanced sauce and tremendous crust, it worked fantastically. Undercarriage had a slight char. Honestly, one of the best I have had. There was a subtle garlic and (?) rosemary maybe that took this pizza to the next level. Only minor issue was that they threw on some olive that made it get a bit soggy over time. The end crust was also charred a bit and crispy that made finishing each piece a pleasure.
Vic also brought out some meatballs and marinara that were seriously to die for. Absolutely delicious through and through. I look forward to coming back with for some of his pasta dishes and the more esoteric pies he sells. Bravo, good sir. You have fantastic tastes and a very welcoming attitude that sets you above the rest. Peace and love <3
