Don's NY Pizza

is phenomenal. Beautiful undercarriage. Minimal flop. But typical with New York style pizza. I love the fact that they cook and deck ovens. Usually a good sign of a good crust. Flavor of the pizza was outstanding. Good cheese nice stretch. Sauce is nice subtle and tangy. Good amount of toppings and sauce. Reading some of the other reviews down below. I’m not sure, what they’re talking about the sauce. These guys were pretty generous and I didn’t have to ask. Talking to both owners they don’t really keep track of their reviews on this app or yelp. So they weren’t even aware that people were complaining about the sauce. But this place is pretty high in my book for a football pizza. I’m gonna give it an 8.7. The atmosphere was good. The owners were extremely friendly and approachable. Very kind and talkative. The pizza was great. Got some wings. Not sure how those are gonna taste. They smell amazing. All in all a great looking pie. They do use a good cheese. As a former sales person of cheese, I’m a little partial. But they do use a quality cheese I just wish it was one of my favorites like Saputo gold or grande. But that didn’t affect the score that I gave it. Solid pie. You won’t be disappointed. I drove about 20 miles round-trip to pick up this pizza because there is no good pizza in the West valley aside from Don’s.
