If someone were to ask me what a “Pittsburgh” pizza looks like, I would show them this picture. I had this heavy pie on an extremely hot day and it still hit the spot. As previous reviewers have stated, this is very similar to Fiori’s. Same amount of sauce and cheese and crust is very similar. The sauce isn’t as sweet as Fiori’s, probably because they won’t put jelly in the sauce 🤫. The crust is very floury, but I actually love that. It’s a little doughy but the flour reminds me of Aiello’s which is one of my Pittsburgh favorites. This pizza combines some of my favorite qualities of other pizzas around Pittsburgh and turns it into their own. The execution could be a little better in some aspects. It was a little too doughy and greasy to get into the 8s, but they are right there. Another example of a pizza place having their own boxes and producing quality pies.
