I’ve been to Naples and almost every Famous pizza spot in the tristate area… After working at lucalis this summer in Brooklyn… this is the best pizza I’ve ever had

Solid pizza, fresh ingredients, Neapolitan isn’t my favorite style of pizza but this is really delicious!

Been passing this jawn everyday on my way home from work and it always popped out at me because of the stacks of wood outside and it’s cooked in a wood oven which is interesting to me! The pizza itself had a unique texture as it was soft chewy and delicious and the cheese and sauce tied it all together perfectly. I would describe it as a more artisan style pizza with Neapolitan Inspiration and it delivers a great pie that’s a breath a fresh air from all the typical jersey football pizza everywhere else. Will definitely be back!

Not to be confused with the plant-based joint in Manhattan, Double Zero offers typical wood-fired Neapolitan, smallish, personal sized pies. Like most Neapolitan pizzas, they do not travel well and need to be eaten on site. The pie doesn’t come out particularly crispy, the middle is somewhat soggy and if you wait too long, the dough turns rubbery. Despite the nice char on the crust, it’s very soft & doughy. The homemade fresh mozzarella is a nice touch on the Margherita pie, more stringy than creamy though. The San Marzano tomatoes give the sauce a nice sweet flavor but it lacks zip. A sprinkle of parmigiano reggiano on top of the extra virgin olive oil with the standard basil garnishing adds some decent flavor to the pie overall. Not a lot of bang for the buck but definitely on par with solid Neapolitan pies. A nice change of pace pizza, even though it’s not my favorite style.

7.3 because food was excellent, but expensive and small for a big gutted fellow like me. Will come back tho the people do be friendly

Heard their margherita pie was good so ordered that. Don't get me wrong: it's good, but nothing to write home to ma about. 12" size makes it a nice personal. The mozz is fresh, crust is bland. 7.1 only because I don't want to put a rookie score.

Guy on the phone said “Italian style”, and he could do well done, not crispy. Ok for Italian style it’s great! Sauce is tasty. Bit greasy. It’s Italian style...so its softer, more doughy. It’s good but I’m a crispy fan. I’m gong with 6.4 The guy who took our order was so nice and beyond accommodating, super great customer service.

Great looking great tasting , but lacks in the crust . The crust is too soft and burned . Cheers
