🍕 Pepperoni ⭐️ 8.3 💭 I know it’s not the gold medal cheese slice but I get weak in the knees when I see curled up pepperoni. Joe’s Pizza in Santa Monica used to be the standard for a pepperoni slice. El Pres gave that place an 8.3 and I scored similar with an 8.1. After seeing the 6.6 average score for Dough Bros on the One Bite app I was pleasantly surprised with how good this was. In all honesty, I rather eat this than Joe’s. It’s got crispy yet fatty pepperoni (Joe’s is just flat with no crispy edges) a crispy crunch on the underbelly, and a light and soft crust with air pockets. Maybe I just caught them on a good day but this is my new favorite pepperoni slice.

Slice that is right down the middle. Solid crunch, solid cheese, solid sauce. It’s a rookie score but every aspect of this pizza is 7.0

Love the slices here whenever I’m in the city I do stop by conveniently located off of state street, they use the best cheese on the market (Grande) Obviously they are always packed love them.

Alright Dough Bros. This one is interesting as it’s like a marriage of the cheese of a bar style with the bread of a ny style. What i’m left with is a tangy no nonsense sauce meeting with the crispy thin slice. What is missing is the cheese in this meeting which heavily hardens to itself and sheets above the slice. It’s just barely noticeable, but is out of place on this slice. Still, with huge points for the amazing dough, and the super tangy sauce, this makes for a great lunch spot with the hyper fast single slice service!
