Doughboys Authentic Wood Fired Pizza

Very good all around, taste, under carriage, flop, crust all great

I was excited about the presentation and the the flop was great. Good thickness: right in the middle. Cheese/sauce ratio was on point and the cheese is tasty. The sauce is just a little too sweet.

First time I tried Doughboys pizza and I must say was truly impressed. Took advantage the fact that they have a wood fired oven so I ordered the margherita pie. Wow!! The dough lives up to the Doughboys name, very light and airy. The fresh mozzarella was very creamy. The sauce had the right amount of tang and sweetness. One of the best pies in the area. Although it is on the pricey side (around 21 bucks), it was worth the extra cost. Highly recommended.

Alright Frankie, always something strange about the sauce. Too sweet? I don’t know. Basically, it’s trash. Don’t drive out of your way to get this Prez. Not even football pizza.

“1 plain, not too crispy.” Perfect thin crust flop! Great dough, airy & chewy. Greater cheese to sauce ratio. The sauce is above average but overall it’s a really good slice! I’ll def come back for a pie.

Below average pizza for New Jersey. Heavy jersey flop. Cheese has an average taste, sauce was ok at best. Crust was very doughy hence the establishments name “doughboys”. Would still eat again, but only if I was passing by and was hungry.

It just came out of the oven when I got it to go. Hence, why the presentation looks messy. A lot of New Jersey Flop. Decent flavor combo between the sauce and cheese.

Margharita better then plain.
