Downtown Pizza and Sandwich Shop

Solid spot. I've finally found a great go to pizzeria for a slice in Shelton. I've only had slices and my wife a tuna melt, but highly recommend as a local convenient go to place for takeout or delivery (Uber Eats or Door Dash). A little thick for my taste on the slice. Definitely NY / football style pizza. I recommend asking for it well done (or extra 60 seconds) or taking it home and heating a slice at 500 for 5 minutes. Money. Really good N.Y. style slice. Very nice family (father, son, and wife). So much pride in their work and the place is spotless. Menu says he has 30 years of experience cooking pizza. Don't expect New Haven pizza, but for Shelton it's solid and only $2 for a big slice of cheese. Can't wait to try more of what they have to offer.
