Dragonfire

With the name Dragonfire, I was excited in hopes of a nice, wood-brick oven style pizza. What I received was an extremely average pizza with a tiny bit of burn on the crust. I had a feeling I’d be disappointed when they asked me if I thought it was cooked “too much.” There is absolutely no zest or flavor to the sauce. Although, it may be unfair to rate a pizza place more known for their toppings than just plain cheese, the Chuck E Cheese like pizza sauce makes me think adding toppings wouldn’t do it any better. Not to mention the mega gondola flop from every slice and how heavy the larger slices are. Given how I’m extremely hungry and will still prob eat the entire pie, I think a generous 5.9 is very fair. If this is the highest rated pizza place in the Bar Harbor area, stick to the lobster and clam chowder.
