Durkin's Pizza

Rookie score. This is a weird one. The sauce kind of tastes like ragoo and it’s a saucy pizza. Grease. The high point is the big crust, it’s like a garlic knot - great. Even though the sauce and the cheese isn’t anything special, something about it kept us eating and loving it. It’s a high score, but we like what we like. I went 7.8, she went 8.2.

Durkin’s Pizza

Middle of the road “football pizza.” Heavy slice that is very cheesy. Tastes of oil though there is no oil showing on slice. Has a mild flop. There is a salty taste that looks to come from a seasoning mix sprinkled on the pizza before cooking. Dough is airy, crust is soft (I prefer a slight crunch), cheese is thick and sauce is lost in the mix. $15 for a large; fair value.

Our favorite pizza place. The crust totally makes it! Awesome pizza! The only con is that it’s a little thin in the middle- like there’s not a lot there. But the problems solved if you pound away a couple more pieces.
