This is the league minimum of what a passable NY slice should be. Tasty but greasy. Crispy thin crust, but still screen baked. Sauced in good proportion, but a tad sweet. It’s not a high brow slice that’s slaved over by some artisan, but who needs that anyway? Give me this hard-working, everyman slice any day of the week and I’ll be happy. Just don’t think it’s in the 8s.
