So everybody was saying 'Eddie and Sam's' when I was in Tampa. But NY water is over-rated when it comes to out of state pizza...it's really all about quality of ingredients and knowing how to throw the dough. A bit too much attitude behind the counter too, so I ordered 2 slices to go, and the flavors were nice, but the crust just didn't hold up its end of the bargain...

Two slices as a sample. Crust has a lot to be desired not the worst texture but little flavor. Pretty floppy undercarriage and greasy to excess. Still definitely a New York slice in Florida though

Picked up a call in and took it back to hotel by the hard rock. Buddies and I got a meat lovers, well done. Solid 7.4. Potential is there for a 7.8-8 if you eat it right there on a good day.

Not bad not as crispy as I thought it would be. But they are fast and very efficient there so that was a plus. Definitely a good lunch stop on the go.

Good quick slice, especially if you are called to jury duty at the courthouse a few blocks away. Little greasy, and my slice was a little crunchier crust than I prefer, but pretty solid. Is a Tampa 7.4
