I don’t have a bad word to say about any ingredients or the pie as a whole. Sure there isn’t much to the dough but the edge is wonderfully crispy and the undercarriage is still perfectly chewy with zero flop. There isn’t a ton of sauce and any flavor it has is overpowered by the garlic olive oil but that is far from a negative for me. I know some people prefer lots of sauce so maybe this wouldn’t be for them. The mozzarella is quality and blends nicely with the garlic flavor. The aforementioned garlic olive oil is probably the single ingredient that puts this pie over the top. It just works very well with each of the other ingredients including the crunchy crust. There is no need for “garlic butter sauce” with this crust that’s for sure. This is an 8.2 pie.
