Pizza Review
Emmy Squared delivered its signature Detroit-style pie with a crispy-edged but warm rather than hot, which took away a bit of that fresh-from-the-oven satisfaction and the crust also leaned a little too doughy. Flavor-wise, the pie could have used a pinch more salt, but a sprinkle of crushed hot pepper helped brighten things up and bring the toppings to life. Even with these hiccups, the quality ingredients and distinctive square style still shined through.
