Alright, Emmy Squared, Charlotte edition. You know the deal one bite, everybody knows the rules. We went with two pies today: The Miranda and the MVP with Sausage.
Let’s start with The Miranda. Look at this thing on the right; Detroit-style, perfectly squared off, no flop whatsoever. Undercarriage? Textbook. Crispy, caramelized edges, the kind of crust you can hear before you even taste it. The ricotta cheese on this one? Absolutely elite. Smooth, creamy, melts right in with the sauce. The only knock…not enough Mike’s Hot Honey. You can’t tease me with a drizzle, I want that sweet heat in every bite. Still though, phenomenal slice. 8.6 out of 10.
Now the MVP with Sausage. Another great showing. That sesame garlic crust? Sneaky good, adds this nutty crunch that kind of steals the show. Great bake, again zero flop, tight undercarriage, toppings evenly spread, sausage legit. Not quite on the Miranda’s level, but still an excellent pie. 8.1 out of 10.
Emmy Squared Charlotte strong showing, consistent, flavorful, just missing that extra punch of honey love. Overall, solid spot. One bite, everybody knows the rules.
