Faccia Luna (Alexandria,VA)

Stumbled upon this hidden gem while traveling the Washington Parkway through Alexandria. Pizza was very tasty with incredible sauce, tasty ingredients, and a crispy crust. This pizza was the La Capra, with goat cheese, chicken, and spinach.

Nice crust, could use a little more sauce, overall very good pizza.

This is just average pizza. I wanted it to be better because I like the vibe of this trattoria. It’s a small lively place in Alexandria with good service. As far as the pizza, the dough is good... it’s crispy and there is no flop. The rest of the pie is where things went south. It’s pretty greasy and the flavor is underwhelming. 6.1.
