Based on the local options, as a New Haven, Ct guy, this is the best you’re gonna get in State College. I used to frequent the two DC locations almost 20 years ago. Good solid pizza. One thing: this place needs a deep clean. But it’s totally worth it for the pizza if you’re in Happy Valley

I really wanted to love this place. Nice staff, somewhat decent vibe for central PA, I guess….but the pizza was way too doughy and the ingredients are worse than hockey rink pizza.

Shout out to Geoffrey on FB for recommending this dog shit. This limp dick floppy horse shit needs almost a whole bottle of dick pills to get stiff. No crisp, decent undercarriage. Centre County is not the place for quality pizza and it’s no wonder ole Geoffrey’s taste buds are as bland as his big nosed marriage. That’s a review.

Basic pizza. The dough is light but does not provide much crunch. It coild use some additional flavor

To be fair I think I messed this one up. Ordered a small pizza, 10”. I disagree with other reviews and like the tang of cheese and sauce. The crust was severely underdone for a wood stove. Thinking ordering a small May have been the issue. Could easily see this in the mid-7 range.

Ordered a classic cheese and a wood fired margarita. Classic came out first. Great crunch and crust. Other than that it really had no flavor from sauce or cheese. By the time we realized they forgot our wood fired one we were just ready to go so didn’t get to try that one out. Pretty disappointed over all.

The mistake people who like classic cheese pizza are making is they aren’t asking questions. I asked for the classic pizza in the wood fired oven (rather than the gas oven) and it instantly put this over the edge. Decent flop, not too much cheese or sauce, with a very crispy crust. Ask for this instead
