Pizza Review
Un mordisco; todo el mundo sabe las reglas! My rating is partially weighted on the fact that this place is kind of a like a local institution + a pizza oasis in a dessert of fast food. Really good pizza in PR is rare, so it has to get graded on a curve. They claim to fame is that they use a traditional Venetian pizza recipe. The wife and I went to Venice, Italy* a few years ago (ever heard of it?), so I can verify that it’s a similar pie. But in general, I’m not looking for Venetian pizza. I want solid football pizza: All day, Errry day. That being said, this place is a solid stop if you’re in the area and looking for a really good pizza option. Just the right amount of cheese, light on the sauce and a tasty crust. But it’s missing the crisp on the bite, and the flavor of the sauce leaves a lot to be desired. However I would definitely recommend to any pizza-weary traveler in search of a good slice. (*side note- Venezia kind of sucked to be honest. Save your money and go somewhere that doesn’t depend on boats for commuting everywhere.)
