Fat Chris's Pizza and Such

I’m from Detroit and it’s the best Detroit style I’ve had in or outside of Michigan.

Very solid Detroit-style pizza. The sauce could use a bit more tang and the cheese needs more pull, but the underbelly and crust up top are fantastic. A great bite.

I am big Detroit Style guy and I can say the crust and cheese makes this definitely Detroit style! Pep and sausage were mediocre cheese was great and cooked to perfection. The problem with this pie lies in the sauce. Absolutely no flavor savory or sweet tasted straight like tomato paste. If the sauce was legit this pie would have been in the 8's.

Detroit style with incredibly flakey crust is something I wasn’t expecting myself to say. I usually don’t have this style, but I am really enjoying the cheese with its perfect stretch. Not sure if the sauce strip is a Fat Chris’s thing, or a Detroit style thing, but I could have done without it as it made the parts where it was on soggy and the bread doughy. Edges were crisp and addicting. Its nice that every slice gets a bit of every part of the pie. Solid lunch/ with a beer spot.

Paper thin, best part about it were the tomatoes. I expected the pizza to be a lot more considering the name of the restaurant. Overpriced for what you get. Overall pretty good but there are places that are better that cost less.

This was just OK. Paper thin, tomato sauce tastes very fresh. I would try the hand tossed pizza instead of the thin crust to give it another shot.

Just normal tasting pizza no big deal sauce is OK, I want to crust to be more well done and I like the consistency of the cheese not too much not too little.

*NOT in Elmhurst* more like Bowmanville/Andersonville but Chicago nonetheless. Flippity floppity fuck on the slice.

I guess this place is known for its thick crust Detroit style but I went with the thin hand tossed. Not great but it’s exactly what I wanted. Not bad. ZaZaZa

Little Caesars on Steroids. Not my favorite go to pizza. Price seemed high till I ate two slices and realized that you can share it at about $7 a person and I’m a slob so if I couldn’t kill it by myself it’s definitely a share pizza! Other reviews seemed low if you are comparing to Chicago pizza. It says right outside Detroit style! Thick as hell crust, cooked super crisp, and toppings and sauce were great in my opinion. Go in thinking you are getting what Little Caesar’s would be if it wasn’t a chain and masses produced and you will love it!

Bad delivery, had a sliding of some sauce and some cheese separation. Crust is well done sauce not to sweet. Could have better if delivery guy didn’t drop it and restaurant didn’t burn it
