Fat Sully's Pizza

This pizza was a solid attempt at a new york pizza. To me it was the equivalent of a transgender female. Technically its a female but we all know it isnt. Just like this pizza is a “New York Pizza” when it really isnt and doesnt come close. I just found out this slice was $4. This was not a $4 pizza, keep that in mind. Solid transgender pizza.

Shit pie. Taste like cardboard and ketchup. NY style is NEVER conveyor belt pizza. Don't be fooled. Dough taste like it's loaded with sugar, the sauce is way over sweet. Seriously taste like ketchup, no herb or garlic flavor to it whatsoever. Barely any cheese. Dry, and very very bland. Seriously, you could get better at little Caesars for a fraction of this cost. Trashy bar pizza. Don't believe the hype

Very thin. Good slice but a bit heavy on drunk kid pizza. Could use a little more sauce but cheese was great

Solid pie... coming from the east coast l didn’t know what to expect when it came to Colorado pizza. Pleasantly surprised with Fat Sully’s. Extremely impressed with the thin crust which had good under carriage char and crunch. Good sauce and cheese. (Went back a second time, perhaps got them at a busier hour as pie was slightly undercooked... mildly disappointed) score would be higher if second pie was as cooked as good as first... will be back at a future time and will definitely come back.

I had higher hopes honestly. Even though I read that they make 26” pizzas I wasn’t aware that they ONLY make 26” pizzas. They do offer by the slice ordering though. That being said, I wanted a whole pie for leftovers. I guess 26” is a bit bigger than I imagined. Anyway, the sauce is the best part of this pizza; it has a nice tomato flavor without being just one note. I ordered my pie with pepperoni, sausage and banana peppers. Nobody says you have to only order plain, that’s the Prez’s arena. The meats were spicy, the crust had a fairly decent crunchy/chewy/burnt bits flavor but it wasn’t terribly flavorful, kinda dull. Because the pie is so big, the inner circle (about the size of a normal medium or large sized pizza) was all doughy/chewy mush. The “outer half ring” was much more pleasant with both soft and chewy bites spicy/tomato/cheese flavors mixed with some crunch. I had heard this is one of the best pizzas in Colorado Springs, maybe so but it’s not worthy of anything close to an 8.

Best pizza in the Springs. Generous slices, thin, crispy with great sauce and cheese. Love these slices and open late. Love, love, love Fat Sully’s. Our go-to.

Pretty classic New York pizza. Whole lotta New York flop. Cheese absorbed by sauce, doesn’t add a ton of flavor. Nothing special, but solid overall
