Fat Tomato Pizza(Hermosa Beach)

I can’t remember ever not finishing a slice in my life. This thing was awful. Ordered by the slice, he took it out of the case and then added fresh mozz to the top of the slice before putting it in the oven, which I’ve never seen before. And it was awful. If you order a full fresh pie from this place it’s decent, like, NYC dollar-slice equivalent. But don’t order by the slice that was the all time worst.

Actually nicely well-done crust, more than expected. Very basic pizza, average flavor, nice crisp. Kiosk self order in person with little human interaction at the RPV location. Minimal seating, minimal drinks.

A poor man’s take on pizza perfection, fat tomato is as close to a perfect bar/football combo as you can get in the South Bay.

Trust my review. It’s good! But it’s not great. I Have had better pizza but will honor the one bite rule and say, you won’t complain. The sauce is what gives it the bonus.

Sauce is very good here. Had the Hawaiian and meat lovers. Thin pizza but feels heavier with the “juicy-ness” of the ingredients. A little greasy for my taste but was still good overall and would go back.
