2nd review for National Pizza Day. Fatpour is one of my favorite bars in Chicago. They have an awesome beer selection and is always a good time. The food is also really good, mostly because they actually give you a good amount of it for the money. I tried their pizza for the first time tonight. I ordered The Notorious P.I.G. It’s basically a meat lovers pizza. I know Fatpour isn’t a pizza place, but it does take up significant real estate on their menu to choose a 12” or 14”. I thought it was just okay. I felt I was really missing the sauce on this one. I got a ton of flavor and saltiness from the meats, and there was plenty of cheese. I just needed some tomato. The crust was a fancy pizza style, crispy around the outside but gets soggier in the middle. It honestly may have been the best part. However, the lack of sauce broke it for me. It became a ranch dunker. It’s not bad, but I like the rest of the food menu better. Overall, definitely check out Fatpour for brunch and/or night life. Bonus if you’re a Wisconsin fan.
