Favorite Pizza

Anyone who is a fan of any sports team has been there before. Your team is above average, but not great. They might show up a couple days in the regular season and look very good but deep down, you know they are not a championship caliber team. When the playoffs come around, your thoughts are confirmed when they play a better team and can’t compete with a higher level of competition. Favorite Pizza is the pie equivalent of this team. It is absolutely an above average pie. There are FAR worse options in Austin. But, when it’s all said and done, Favorite Pizza is a borderline top 5 spot. I can’t really put my finger on what they could do better but just don’t feel that it’s a top 3 spot in the 512, but it’s a solid pie.

It’s fine I like the crisp but it’s amazing how it’s pretty tasteless. Not that it factors into the review but it’s expensive

Solid football pizza.. cheesy and filling. Classic style, great drunk pizza. Can be a little greasy for sure.

Got a football game to watch? Cos I got a football slice for you. Dough is actually heavy for its style, cheese is stretchy and abundant; overall inoffensive pizza for a quick slice or pie to the football party. A few upgrades with sauce and dough thinning can easily bump it

0 flop, good crunch, 7.5-7.8 pizza; good atmosphere and music

Late night slice in Austin. At least it was edible as the pizza truck nearby was not. Crust didn’t have much taste or chew, sauce was scarce, cheese was fine. At $5.50 for this small slice, I will stick to tacos or whatever else is open late night.

Solid pie probably 7.3 but they are playing old school NY Hip Hop so they get a score bump for atmosphere!! Great window pie with great crunch!
