The crisp and cheese were on point. The sauce was a bit bland for me and the crust reminded me of matzah. All in all, a solid thin-crust, bar pie if you are ever in or near Freehold.

The Prez right on point with the 8.8 score! Perfect thinny e thin cracker crust. This one here was sausage and mushroom. We also got the plain. A must get to place. Great atmosphere. Typical old school nj pizza. In ending, can we stop giving reviews on pizza huts, and chain pizzas. What a waste…….

Finally got here after 37 years . Stunning bar pie. Copious crunch. A little bit heavy on the grease is the only critique stopping this from a colossal scores.

Solid bar pie. Love the crunch. Would love a little more done-ness on the cheese

Bear in mind, if you are really hungry you might need to get more than one pie because they are paper thin. It’s well balanced and a pizza that is uniquely its own, even compared to other bar pizzas.

I was in the area and decided to try this place out! The pizza was super thin crust and it was piping hot. No flop at all and great undercarriage. The chesse had a different taste that anything else I ever had. In my opinion I rather have a bit more crust and more classic tasting cheese. But the restaurant was beautiful

High-quality bar pie and our waiter was fantastic; love the family-owned, local, old-school Italian vibe along with the Springsteen history. I can easily see days in which scores are in the high-eight, low-nine range; the ingredients were fresh and the crust had great char, the only minor knocks were that the pie was on the oily side, and the crust wouldn’t fold cleanly, as it broke while attempting to fold the slice. All in all, this is well worth a visit, and if visiting for the first time, I highly recommend dining inside to get the full ambiance. We additionally ordered two pasta dishes which were exceptional, and when getting a salad be sure to try the signature, house-made Italian dressing. One final note, good bottles of house wine are only $30.

Good pizza, it didn’t blow me away but slightly above average. Slightly greasy.
