Really good, but.. I have beef with this “thin crust”. More like matzo, not really bread at all. Like a flaky bland cracker.

Thin Crust, Perfect crunch, cheese to sauce ratio is perfect. Sauce needs a little more flavor

Dave overshot this. Nowhere near an 8. Ok for bar pizza but not too good overall.

Thin cracker crust, good cheese, sauce could use more flavor.

Having family in Freehold for over 30 years, I can't believe today was the first time I ever ate from here. Well, better late than never. Decided to gift the fam with a gift certificate since it's one of their favorite go-to establishments. While on the GS Parkway, about thirty minutes away, I called my lunch order in, along with the gift certificates. A very pleasant young lady let me know that it would be ready in about 15 minutes, and that I would be taken care of via curbside pickup. I had a feeling it would be ready prior to my arrival, which is totally okay because I find that the pizza tastes best after it's cooled off just a tad. That was exactly the case. Perfect temperature. Face wasn't burned off . Sauce: balanced; just enough; not too little/much Cheese: evenly melted and browned; very few bubbles, not greasy; makes a perfect teammate with the sauce and crust Crust and Undercarriage Unique, crispy, slightly flakey; it's almost like a toasted, flakey, cracker ; guarantee it's different and unique for every pie; "No two crusts are alike at Federici's," it's imperfect and that's what I loved about it; well-done just as I had asked; Thank you I drove an hour from Hudson County. This is Destination-Pizza. This is the real deal. My new standard. 9.1

Good stuff, could tell there was a difference between what I got (takeout, in a box) compared to normal. I also think pizzas often lose something in personal size. Pleased but would like to revisit for sit down larger pie

Very Good Slice. Nice and crispy but a little greasy, Dave over shoots a little bit here in my opinion

The hype is real. It’s sooooo thin. It’s oily but crunchy and delicious. Some might say it’s a cracker but that’s what makes it good. And for Jenny, it’s a 9.1 For me it’s an 8.7 but still it’s fantastic pizza

🏆BEST BAR PIE ALERT🏆 There’s a few keys to making a great bar pie: 1) Thin dough/crust that’s crispy & crunchy. 2) Large enough to share, small enough to finish yourself. 3) Zesty sauce & thin layer of cheese with some bite. This pie not only meets all of that criteria, it excels to the pinnacle by which all bar pies should be compared to as the gold standard. Thin, crispy, tasty dough lays the perfect foundation for wonderfully flavorful sauce & tight, sharp cheese, packing a uniquely delicious punch in this simple, yet fantastic pie. The only drawbacks keeping this from rating in the 9s are the excess grease and some burnt parts of the crust. Easily forgiven when you taste the overall finished product. The pie travels pretty well but I’d still recommend eating on-site. It wasn’t an easy decision but this pizza edges out Star Tavern as the best bar pie in NJ; and it absolutely buries Pete & Elda’s. Definitely a destination bar pie worth trying; it will not disappoint!
