Federici's Family Restaurant

I was waiting for the right chance to make the trip to Freehold and check out this well known place. Today I got that chance and jumped at it. Glad I did. This is the prototypical bar pie. Crust was awesome and pie had plenty of cheese and sauce. Not greasy! They obviously know what they are doing there as the pie was well cooked and all 8 pieces (yes of course I polished it off) retained the taste and great crunch to crust. I’m still looking for a bar pie to rival Stan’s Chitch’s (now sadly closed) and would rate Nancy’s Townhouse next best followed by Kinchley’s and Federici’s if anyone is interested. Solid pie and highly recommend. Good job!!
