Filippi's Pizza Grotto Little Italy

I’ve order the margarita thinking this is the normal cheese slice version however I never knew that they don’t add sauce on the base so basically this was a cheese on a not cooked dough, really disappointed as I thought is going to taste nice, the waiter called Dave didn’t knew anything about pizzas and really rude. Uncooked not sauce and too much cheese

Heavy. Way too much cheese. Very little to no sauce. They put tomatoes on a cheese pie???

I wasn’t sure if I would like the style being a bit of a thicker pizza, but the flavor was really good and it ate lighter than it looks. Also the restaurant is awesome and the other food is all really good. The restaurant as a whole is definitely an 8.2

Pizza was thicker than normal but the taste was on point this place is a must you enter through a deli and end up in the back in the restaurant make sure you see the pic of THE BOYS cuz if you leave a bad review they might make you come up missing jk Hey FORGETABOUTIT HUH

Great crust. VERY heavy on the cheese, but still a good pie

wasn’t as good as I remember it being as a kid but still definitely a solid pie. cheese game goes hard and got some decent sauce and crust. pepperoni is good too but I’m a cheese man. especially from here. if you do get toppings ask for extra cheese, it’s a must. all locations have a tight fit inside so you get to have an intimate experience with the table next to you. much love

Thick crust which generally isn’t my style, but it wears on you. Great tasting crust and super friendly staff. I get why all my SD friends like it.

Based on the visual appearance when the pizza landed on the table the lack of flavor was extremely disappointing... The crust is not New York style, It's a bit thicker but it wasn't soggy

Love the dough, love the cheese, love the texture, but the sauce is lacking a little in the flavour department. This is a great slice, it really is, I just need a little more sweetness.

Not impressed. Very basic version of deep dish pizza. Too chewy, cheese is too thick and just not good pizza

Doughy. Cheese is different. Juicy and a filling bite. It’s nice.

Pepperoni was under the cheese. Traditional style with a slightly thicker crust. Average . Lasagna was a much better option.

Sauce is nice, too thick of a style for my taste. Bonus review, garlic bread is a 7.2
