Today I am doing my first European pizza review since I went to Milan in 2019! We are actually at Dough Bros in Galway, Ireland. This place isn’t on the app so I put the closest pizza place in Ireland instead. This place has crazy accolades. In 2022 they were voted the Best Pizza in Ireland, 19th Best Pizza in Europe, and 79th Best in the World! Some huge accolades to live up to right there. This pizza mostly lived up to it. It’s just not my favorite style of pizza unfortunately, even though most of Europe makes pizza likes this. It’s just not super filling and always extremely thin and floppy. All of the ingredients were super fresh. The sauce and cheese were great, and the pizza was cooked excellently. As a basil lover I wish there were a few more pieces scattered on top, but that’s a small gripe. The vibes in this place were great and the pizza was pretty good too. Hopefully I can try to review some more pizzas out here to see if it really is the best in Ireland.
