Firehouse Pizzeria

Solid open flame (wood, coal, propane) fired pizza. Extra points for the staff - she was super friendly and even got us ice cream from next door. Worth a try for sure.

Not that it's seeing a whole lot, but this is easily the best in Franklin county! It's world's better than Giuseppe's, and slightly better than "Something Different" (not sure why something different isn't on this app). I went with a large half pepperoni half cheese and got it with their house sauce, as it was recommended by the girl who took my order. The house sauce is sweeter than their traditional sauce and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I asked for the pizza cooked well. It was prepared by the owner himself, and was cooked to perfection, with a really nice undercarriage and a nice crispy dough yet airy crust. This place has lots of options for toppings and extremely unique specials that are debuted every Saturday, and different each week. If you're in the Malone New York area, you're going to have to drive quite a ways to get a better pie than this!
