Fireside Pizza

Well I really wanted to like the pizza. The atmosphere is great, staff and owners are great people. You walk in and the smell is wonderful. The vintage atmosphere is really nice. The pizza was made perfectly. No flop, tons of crunch in every bite. The crust was great however the sauce had little flavor and the cheese was just ok. Maybe next time I'll throw some sausage and pepperoni on it and see what that does. Overall 6.4 mostly because of how great the staff was and the atmosphere. I would go back.

This place is 8.1 on vibes. Caeser salad was really good. Pizza was tasty but not my style.

Not going to knock your socks off or anything. Solid NY style brick oven pizza. The crust is the star of the show. Mild flop. Ok sauce. I suspect that people like the location more than they like the pizza.

First off, I like the atmosphere. Historic building with historic charm. Bartender, Jason, was great! Pizza is ok. Not my style crust or undercarriage. Crust is a little chalky and dry. Cheese ok, sauce is hard to distinguish. That said, it’s still a GOOD pie that does the trick. So if you want a good bar atmosphere and great service, good crowd AND you want a pie then this works. > 9.0 = Travel out of state or 4+ hours for the pizza. This is World-Class Pizza! > 8.0 = Travel 1 to 3 hours for the pizza. This is Local Legend Pizza > 7.0 = Local pizza that is a go-to. Very good pizza. > 6.0 = If you’re already there then you go for it. It’s not a bad pie but you’re not going out of your way for it. < 5.9 = Worsening levels of MEH. Gas station heat lamp to school lunch lady pizza. You’ll feel the dead weight in you. Hard pass (pun intended). Atmosphere and service adds/drops up to .5 points: Add 0.0 for polite service Add 0.1 for good service Add 0.2 for great service Add 0.3 for phenomenal service Add 0.4 for legendary service Add 0.5 for epic service that can only be done here Subtract 0.1 to 0.5 for meh, distracted, bad, awful, and find another job, respectively.

Margherita Pizza

Decent pizza. Above average for Cincinnati. Good ingredients. Undercarriage can be crispier. Good vibes.

Best white pizza I've had in awhile. Great thin crust, not a lot of flop. Highly recommend!

A bit salty but overall a good slice

Light flop and light undercarriage, medium thin, very little grease, sauce is a little salty but overall good flavors and good ratio of ingredients.

Had both the bacon and the margherita. Both were of very good quality. Thin and light pizza with great sauce and real cheese. Great environment. Highly recommend.

Decent pizza. A little flop. Sauce taste generic. Overall overrated.

Thin crust, good crunch, solid flavor. One of the top in Cincinnati for sure.
