FireWorks Pizza - Leesburg

Thin crust nice and crispy from the wood fire oven. Neutral sauce with a hint of oregano. Regular mozzarella cheese. Good pizza.

First time just getting cheese and it’s not great

I usually get one of their pizzas with toppings, so when you stripe it down to just cheese sauce and cheese, you notice the little things like you can’t taste the sauce and the crust is a little too doughy. That said, nice char on the cheese and good flavor from the crust, though there is a little too much cheese for the amount of sauce.

It’s a sharp looking pie. Lots of leesburg flop. Solid char on the cheese but very little on the dough. It’s very very doughy. Sauce isn’t coming through. It’s doughy. A little over cheesed. This could have used more time in the oven to crisp it up.

Got the Fire Works pizza. A bit floppy, but tasty toppings (pepperoni, sausage, green pepper, onion, mushroom). Sauce needs to be tangier. Good pizza, not great. Have been there many times, it is a go to.

Good pizza, really good crust and cheese, but not exactly my style. Definitely worth a try!

Good flavor but place was so busy the pizza came out too fast. Crust needed a few more minutes.

I’ve had better here at fireworks. This pizza was not cooked completely, the sauce was too light and didn’t have much flavor, the dough was too doughy and thick. Stick with the smaller gourmet pizza to get a better crust.

Now we talking, this is the best pizza I’ve had so far in northern VA. The crust has the perfect level of burntness. Also, total veteran move of getting half cheese half pepperoni. Didn’t sacrifice the review while also securing some money leftovers for tomorrow. When you have 3 pizza reviews under your belt like me, you have to start finding the hidden gems. 7.9... very close to an 8 but it doesn’t quite make it into the exclusive club of ZERO pizza places. It will come. I WILL keep searching. That’s a review.
