Pizza Review
I like this restaurant. It’s a cool spot that does a good job of sourcing locally and giving back to the community. And if you love funky toppings like kalua pork, sweet potatoes, strawberries, and barbecue sauce on your pizza then it will be your jam. But if we’re talking about the gold medal slice...crust, sauce and cheese...flatbread doesn’t have good pizza. The crust is by far the best part of the slice. Tons of flop and chewy. It helps a lot if you ask them to cut it like a normal pizza so you can fold the slices. But the rest...tastes like skim milk cheese and diet tomato sauce, which it may be since it’s in Paia. Sauce is just off. Too sweet, no tang. And the cheese lacks flavor. Come here, but don’t expect a good traditional slice. And have dessert. The lilikoi cheesecake is great.
