Well it’s better than Donato’s at least. It was pretty boring. I felt there wasn’t enough sauce, though it tasted just slightly sweet, and the dough could’ve been crispier. I get that the dough is a little more airy, but everything together didn’t work for me. I’ve mentioned before that crumbled sausage is not the way, so that could’ve swayed me negatively, but it seems Flyers is overrated for the area. Doesn’t seem much different than most national chains. The price is pretty decent and it was ready in 15 minutes, which is awesome. In a pinch, I’d get it again, but I hope there are better mom and pop places around to offer something a little less chain-like.
