Pizza Review
Folliero’s pepperoni and sausage — now this is what pizza’s supposed to be. Thin crust with a little chew, some char on the edge, actual flavor in the sausage, and pepperoni that doesn’t look like it came out of a Lunchables pack. The sauce isn’t drowning the slice, the cheese actually melts instead of congealing into rubber like a Little Caesar’s “Hot-N-Ready.” Don’t get me wrong, $5 cardboard has its place at 2 a.m. when you hate yourself, but this is pizza you actually enjoy while sober. And the Birra Moretti? Goes down so smooth it’s basically an accessory to bad decisions — the kind of beer that tricks you into ordering a second pie just to “balance it out.” One bite, everyone knows the rules. 7.8/10 — solid, neighborhood pie that makes Little Caesar’s taste like cafeteria food.
