Forbici Modern Italian

Well… Often when we travel, we look for a One Bite review and we eat there. El Prez gave Forbici a 7.9. I think he was influenced by the crowd, because Forbici… is no 7.9. We arrived Friday night around 6:00 PM, wait was 90 minutes. My daughter said, why don’t we order take out and bring it back to the room. We did. The restaurant was a great venue, vibe was excellent. Ordered square and a round margarita, Cesar Salad, and Rig Pesto. Both pizzas… ehh, dry, just nothing doing. Salad… we make better at home, and the dressing didn’t ring of homemade, the star of the show… pesto. Delicious. Skip the pizza, order the entrees. 7.3 is influenced by where this place is and the aura around it. That’s a review.

MARGHERITA SQUARE PIZZA Basil, Pomodoro, Mozzarella

Very solid square slice. Surprisingly light while still getting good crisp at the crust. Nice flavor to it as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the Tampa area.

Thicker crust but cooked till crunchy. It's not a heavy pizza to be a deep dish either. Recommended with pepperoni, they have a mild spice to them.

Crust has a nice crunch, light fluffy. Too much cheese. Pepperoni and pizza could be cooked longer. Sauce has a good flavor.

It is good. Old fashioneds as better.

This pizza appears thick and heavy but when you bite into it it’s soft and airy. The pepperoni on this style was crisp with I love. The price is pretty steep but it’s an elevated style so you get what you pay for. Will definitely be going back for date night as their other options beyond pizza look great too!

2-3 more minutes and would have been great. Margherita pizza 12” Good flavor of toppings maybe a little too much cheese. Just wasn’t cooked through and still doughy. Will maybe give another go sometime.

Sauce is subpar. Nice light crust.

Not my style but Dave nailed it. Light and great taste for a square pizza. My fiancé said it's one of the best she's ever had.

Salsiccia is good but it’s not a pizza; it’s a flatbread at best. The dough here is incredible but that’s because it’s BREAD! Giving this bad boy a generous score because we enjoyed it but don’t come here expecting pizza; expect an excellent take on flatbread

Not worth the wait. Pizza tasted like cheesy bread from Pizza Hut. Sauce had no flavor. Nice atmosphere, but you’re better off ordering Dominos.

If you’re looking for Detroit style pizza that’s NOT greasy. This is the spot. Super airy crust. Definitely would come back.

Maybe Dave got a better pie, idk but ours was a better version of Dominos Cheesy Bread. We Ordered extra sauce as there was next to none on the pizza. It was “light” but really wasn’t my style. Service was incredible! Our waitress was great! Their entire staff was helpful and friendly. The meatballs were good. I’m simply rating the Pizza.
