Forbidden Pizza

Don’t be afraid of the line, they pump pizzas out quickly! Scores would be higher, but a bit over cooked for my taste.

Dave wasn’t lying. This is some good pizza. Light and thin. Doesn’t reheat well so make sure you get it FRESH.

Shout out to Forbidden Pizza for this excellent pie. My first one came out and didn’t exceed anyone’s standards to include their own. The owner came out and saw the pie slipped through their cracks and immediately made it right. It was a night and day difference. The sauce is great, perfect flop, amazing crust. Awesome customer service.

Don’t get me wrong, great pie. Really was let down with the strength of the undercarriage, absolute slop fest. Sauce is some of the best i’ve ever had and pepperonis were spectacular. If I didn’t have half of the sauce and cheese all over my hand and the ground after I was finished, it would’ve been higher. That being said, definitely a must try for New Orleans.

Good score, good pizza. Owner got to Dave’s head on this one. Doesn’t clear an 8 but enjoyable.

Really fantastic pizza, hits the spot if you’re craving a NY style pizza. I was second in line when they opened and it came out very fast, hot. Great sauce, hard to put down. The Forbidden Fruit was phenomenal. Google said they opened at 11 but when I arrived at 11:30 a paper sign noted that they opened at 12. By noon they did have a long line of maybe 40~people behind me. Definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again. I would rate higher but the crust on one of the slices was a bit chewy in certain spots. Best of luck to the owners and staff!

I struggled with putting this in the 7’s or 8’s. We waited an hour and a half for three slices and it was ice cold. That said I think the sauce is one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Particularly on the cheese slice. Had it been warm I probably would have it closer to Dave’s score in the mid 8’s. Great pizza regardless.
